Its been a grand pipe day. It's 32 outside on my porch but with my little heater, I am super comfortable. I finished a bowl of GH&Co Dark Birds Eye in a Caminetto Brapple thing. Now I am on to a bowl of GH&Co Rum Flake in a James Upshall P Billiard.
Watch City Fat Bastard in a blasted Ceppo bent Dublin.
Just enjoyed a bowl of G&H Dark Flake Unscented in a Barling pot. Boy, that was good, albeit a bit strong. I'm glad I found this site a month or so ago and picked up a bunch of G&H flakes when they were available a couple weeks ago at smokingpipes.

This experiment, consisting of mostly "value-priced" and/or "basic" components; such as: Smoker's Pride: Rich Taste - the red bag - for the mostly Burley content; Super Value's: Black Cavendish, and, Vanilla; to cool, slow, and sweeten; and a just enough of 5 Brothers to bring the Nicotine-level up to where I like it, without bringing in too much noticeable spiciness - a tight-rope balancing act for sure!

Snowed in here in mile high Arizona. Can't get the car up my driveway. I'm smoking my third bowl of Sutliff Edgeworth match. I really like this stuff as a break from my va's. Smoked in a cob with coffee. Ah, the joys of being retired and having nothing to do but enjoy the snow.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R Windsail in a 2013 straight black sandblasted Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baker Street with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. It's even money whether this bowl gets me to dinner time.
