About to light a bowl of Escudo I jarred up 12/23/15 in my one and only Meerschaum - Bought in 1989 at Tinderbox in Raleigh NC.
Can you post a photo of the pipe so that we can see the coloring? 30 years must have put some good color on it.

Did some snacking and am now a quarter of the way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Burley Morning Pipe in a 2015 Basil Meadows black sandblasted billiard with an aluminum band and a pearl red acrylic tapered stem. Going to work now.
Listing this a few minutes early: D&R Raccoon’s Delight in a 2004 Stanwell EM 2004 black sandblasted straight billiard in a gold accent ring on the shank and gold “s” on the black tapered acrylic stem.
Just snuck out in the midst of simmering some potato leek soup for an MM Shortstop Cob full of Haunted Bookshop. A Short Stop full is about all I care for at -25 degrees with only my slippers and a sweater, haha.

Actually the color is unremarkable, it’s adequate; however, there have been many briars in between. Wished I smoked it more but put it on hold for a long time. Will post a picture when it has more color on it.

MacBaren Vanilla Flake in a Dr. Grabow Tru-Grain straight bulldog with Bulleit bourbon and a Rum & coffee chaser.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R Rowland Platinum in a 1978 smooth dark brown Danish Special medium bend tapered egg with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Have a little more work to do.
A bowl of Cornell & Diehl Old Joe Krantz in my Missouri Meerschaum bent Diplomat with churchwarden forever stem.
