Started this fine Sunday morning with a bowl of Plum Pudding -as I try to do every morning. Today's pipe of choice is my Stanwell (Royal Danish) bent egg.
Smoking the dottle from the last of a sample of Frog Morton on the Bayou in a Medico Meer. Watching Thieves of the Wood on Netflix and drinking coffee. This show makes me wish I was sipping a Duchesse de Bourgogne and puffing a clay Belgique instead!?
Enjoyed a tasty lunch and am now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Sabotage in a medium bend 2003 IMP horn Meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend as I watch the Dirty Harry marathon on the Sundance Channel.
Just cleaned and reloaded the meer with some aged Planta Mild English. Enjoying the interplay between mellowed Syrian and Cyprian Latakia and the hints of sweetness, hay, and dry autumn leaves from the VAs. Reminds me of a late autumn hike with the smell of decaying leaves all around and fresh lit fireplaces in the distance.
GLP Cumberland in a Scott's burner billiard. Certainly satisfying in terms of its nicotine strength, but I'm 3 or 4 bowls into the tin, and just think I prefer JackKnife by a large margin.
