Better get in this month - Happy Friday! A new Doug Finlay I commissioned for a Christmas pipe - sort of a “short” Churchwarden designed and perfectly executed to sit on my chest while doing this on my phone or reading - love it! And some festive GH&C American Black Cherry. View attachment 374417
Stop showing off ! 😁

I've been putting my new meerschaum Falcon bowl to great use today, first smoking War Horse Bar, then War Horse Green, and now winding down with some Lane RLP-6.

For smoking on walks with my meerschaum bowl equipped Falcon I decided the most sensible thing to do was to just put it on a neck lanyard, so if I accidentally drop the pipe (which is something I'm prone to doing) it won't end up hitting the ground and breaking the bowl. It might look a touch silly, but it sure beats spending every walk worrying about dropping the pipe and breaking the meerschaum bowl! 😅

Bike battery is all charged up and weather is forecasted to be even warmer than today, so a final Washington ride is inevitable for tomorrow. Looking forward to that. 👍 😎

For now i'll just listen to some tunes and lie in wait with a bowl of light lat home blended oriental in a Davorin Denovic morta freehand...and then off to make something for dinner.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2008 Astley’s No. 109 in a straight smooth dark brown year 1926 Parker Super Bruyere patent 3 63/F lovat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
