Relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. Just finished smoking year 2016 Wessex Gold Brick in an undated straight black sandblasted Kevin Arthur brandy with a multi-colored accent on the white acrylic saddle stem. This pipe was originally owned by Sante “FishnBanjo” Guiliani. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
Enjoyed Robert McConnell Folded Flake in a La Rocca basket pipe, this afternoon while doing some ice removal.

After chipping away at some ice I treated myself to a bowl of G.L. Pease Embarcadero in a Crown Jewels pot and a small bonfire.
After avenging a 150+ point drubbing in Scrabble last Saturday courtesy of wifey (I mean, she got all the high point letters and used all 7 tiles twice, what the hell am I supposed to do?!?), took a little family stroll around the property, with a single coin (perfect fit) of Peterson DNR in a Foyard beechwood rhodesian. Should've dried it a bit more. 7/10
Bird report: California quail, White-crowned sparrow, Dark-eyed junco, Spotted towhee, House finch, California towhee, American crow, Northern flicker, Hairy woodpecker, Mountain chickadee, Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, American robin, and Western bluebird.
Turkey burgers & oven-roasted potatoes on the docket for tonight, as we dive into the 2nd half of Star Trek TNG. Be well everyone, and have a good week!

Passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a 1970s slight bend medium brown Caminetto business 134 poker with a pearl gold acrylic stem.
Another fantastic rib eye to finish off the other half of the bottle of Brunello from a couple nights ago. Ready for something befitting. A more recent love. HU Night Owl in a chunky Carlo Scotti era Castello Sea Rock Briar G.

Yesterday’s bowl was challenging - moist out of the jar and long strands clumping together meant a few relights.
Today I chopped up the strands and gave it 10mins in the sun to dry.

2021 Navigator Flake loaded up in my capacious Chinese Canadian with three 'cannon balls.' Road Town, $15 new via ebay a couple years back, and it does what it should.
