Now that's a blend I'd never even heard of! And I knew of D&R's old tin series (tho sadly never acquired any before they got axed :( )
Mark's Raccoon series was very underrated. So was VIP. Before he sold out, I cleaned him out of all that he had left of them at an excellent discount. Bought a bunch of other D&R blends at the same time, so I'll have D&R for the rest of my life. I did overbuy on a couple of things, but who knows how that will work out?

Part of the Furniture Now
This one is for Cosmicfolklore, and his wonderful PDF on slow smoking. I've been practicing his methods over the past month or so, improving my technique on smoking sloooowwwly!!! And a big assist to the Cap, who shared a lot about packing for me in a couple or three PMs which has put the icing on cake. Both have been instrumental in changing my entire attitude to pipes and tobacco in general.

My evening smoke was with my Oriental dedicated Ropp J07, and Steamworks. Not only was it a wonderful smoke, but it lasted a full 93 minutes. My buddy Mike witnessed, and had two pipes and a cigar and finally left for home at the 89 minute mark, shaking his head! Oh yeah, the best I'd ever gotten from this pipe before tonight was 55 minutes, which I thought was pretty good at the time. 'Nuff said!

Great day with handguns at the range, too, but that's another story.
