[The Clay King]

Not a ton. It's a typical, medium-sized bowl. The top is the same top as on a Basil Rathbone style gourd calabash. About 0.8 inch diameter at the top and tapering, and about 2 inches deep, but tapered at the bottom. But it's easy to clean, and you can just keep smoking bowl after bowl without worrying about damage to the pipe. I've sat on the porch many times with the tin and just tapped out the last of the ash and shoved more in there and kept on going.

@BurleyVonPuffington I like the look of the giant clay pipes; I think it would be fun to find out how much they hold & how long they'd take to smoke. @Chasing Embers says "Now that's my pipe size area"

Big 'n Burley in my Graybow Westbrook straight wire brush rusticated apple with a pipe mud bottom patch to close the hole I once 'created' with an overly vigorous implementation of the pick part on my CZESK tool.
This nasty looking old pipe is one of my favorite smokers.

In the garage for my morning smoke, reading the hobbit and listening to the LoTR soundtrack. My companion on this adventure is the first nice pipe I bought for myself, my Sav 606ks. I have it loaded with C&D Yorktown and paired with a delightfully black coffee.

Starting my day off with an iced mocha and a bowl of Boswell’s English Biscuit in my Nording 506. I’m officially out of this blend and will need to restock. A very mild English blend with a nice sweetness.

Love the pipes with great wood that have no ornamentation to distract from it; love the brandy shape; and love backing off the common stem fishtail with what I'd call a ski-jump shape on top. Nicely done.
