Near the half way mark of this bowl of KBV Pork Chops and Apple Sauce 2025 in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. Not far from finishing the review of this blend.

Got the nesting quarters of the chicken coop propped up on blocks this afternoon. Reveling in the accomplishment with some Sutliff 507-C VA Slices in a Stefano rhodesian. I've no idea what became of the PSLNF = 507C debate of last month, but I can definitely say that I'm living in an ongoing Twilight Zone episode anyway, so I don't know what the hell to think about anything anymore. But at least this sentiment ain't ruining a good smoke. 9/10

First smoke after my bout of Flu. Just a small bowl of Lane Black Raspberry in a clay. Tasted pretty good. I'm missing my virginias and latakia though. Soon I hope

Royal Yacht in the Bruken 2824
This was the first briar pipe I ever purchased. I acquired it before I learned that I much prefer smoking unfiltered pipes, but today, I figured out that there are some blends which work far better for me in a filtered pipe. Royal Yacht being one of them.
The first time I smoked this blend, while tasting nice, it bit and was wet for whatever reason. I was slow in recognizing that filters take care of both issues and can provide me with a much more pleasant albeit slightly muted smoke. Initially, I thought people only used filters for health concerns.
Still learning. Time to revisit a few other blends with the 2824.

Opened up my last tin of Dan T’s Mallard Flake w/Perique. This stuff is fantastic. Smoking in my Blatter Canadian with some tea.
