Mostly winter chanterelles but I was excited to find about 1 lb of hedgehog mushrooms. The third pic above shows the underside of the hedgehog mushroom which is pretty cool lookin’.

I also received my C&D Winchester sample in the mail and it’s a big yep from me. Very enjoyable and incredibly smooth. It reminds me a bit of Peter Stokkebye Natural Dutch Cavendish but with better leaf. Had some Pegasus this morning as well. Both in my Tekin. View attachment 290157

That's a gorgeous pipe. I don't know if I've ever seen a Dunhill like this--shape or stem.

Thanks. The Dunhill "bowling ball" pipes were only made in the 1930s,and I love the one I have.

Did a little low calorie snacking followed by a long chat with a good friend, and smoked a bowl of year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. It's time for an apple.

I celebrated IPSD with a Missouri Meerschaum bent Country Gentleman filled with the last of a 2018 tin of Molto Dolce.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of Wilke High Hat in an undated black sandblasted straight made in France Silvermatch Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Just over a third of a bowl left of Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Dublin Sterling Canadian 264 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. I got John Brandt to make this for me. It’s not on the menu.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2001 Murray’s Dunhill Navy Rolls in a slight bend rusticated 1979 Savinelli Estella 310 poker with a brown pearl acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long, long time, although it was heavily smoked for the first thirty-some years that I owned it. Smoked lots of this blend in it for quite a while. A really top notch smoker.

Nearing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2012 Carter Hall in an undated 1970s straight smooth dark brown H. Jones Ltd. Easy Loader (Dunhill shop made by Parker) 286 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Been a while since I smoked this excellent smoker. I'll end the day with this smoke.

Morning everyone, starting off with Nebari in a K large billiard and Lavazza espresso. The Estervals order just arrived with a couple of new blends to try, the HU Raiko In Between smells nice.
