Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2018 full bend smooth Terracotta Peterson XL315 System Standard military mount with a nickel cap and a flared black vulcanite p-lip stem. Busy down loading and labeling feral photos. I took a ton of them today.

Got up very early this morning, and heard Sam the Scamp at the back door. I let him in to eat, and after that, he laid by my side for a snooze. He sure is turning into a butterball. Harry the Hairy showed up to eat, and left as soon as he finished. At the end of my second set of walks, Abner the Eager (who’s been here most of the day) was waiting for me. When Sam the Scamp came over to me, Abner laid down by my feet to block him. After a five minute stand off, I walked to the deck, and they followed me to eat. After Abner ate, he saw a squirrel and chased it up a tree. He never gets close to squirrels, but he never stops trying. Sam just stood there and watched Abner’s futility. Tomato the Brave was on the lounge, and watched those two with a little amusement with a classic cat yawn.

Last smoke of the day is D&R Penhooker in a smooth brown late 1890s, early 1900s unbranded military mount bulldog with a silver windcap and spigot with a black vulcanite, flared stem and orific bit.

Tomato the Brave spent the evening snoozing’ on m’lady’s lap. Daisy the Feral Princess ignored everybody, and slept on my studio chair until I went to work. Abner was eager to come back to eat, get attention and a snooze. That was nine hours ago and he’s still snoozing’. As for Sam the Scamp, he came back, too, and is snoozing’ by my side. Sleepy Suzy is not amused, but she is tolerating him because she wants to be with me.

New York
Good Morning everyone! Another day in Florida paradise with the temperatures expected to reach the mid 60s by early afternoon. Better than being in NYC with a projected high in the 30s with the added bonus of being back to wearing 'Empire Builders' and open toed sandals. For those of you unfamiliar with the term 'Empire Builders' it refers to the knee length canvas style kaki shorts. They are usually starched when pressed and the saying goes that when worn the legs move but the shorts remain stationary! I am starting my pipe journey this morning with this @weezel meerschaum 'cutty' pipe with amber stem and fine silver filigree work. The silver work unscrews in the middle to allow for cleaning and maintenance which is quite unusual for it to survive intact. The hallmarks date the pipe to the late 1890s and in common with many pipes of the time the case has no makers name although I would suspect it was a product of the Viennese pipe carving trade. I will be smoking the remaining Gawith Dark Plug that I brought down from NYC and then I will move on to a 'Salty Dogs' plug later in the morning.
