A quarter of the way through this bowl of KBV Dread Knight (Sword and Board) in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Just got in from a lovely walk with WeeBay and my Astley’s full of Wessex BS and moving on to some Fred the Frog in a Sasieni Fantail. I’m thinking of making a lasagna for dinner this evening. 
D&R Three Sails in the Peterson Pub pipe and the Vauen Olaf bent egg ... I don't know if I will buy this tobacco again. While it appears dry as dust and is a fine shag cut, it smokes wet and clogs the draft hole and shank and stem. I find I have to clean the pipes more frequently as the tars build up faster. It tastes good ... just seems awfully messy and wet. I'll have to read up on it and see if I'm doing something wrong.

Three Nuns in a three Star Paronelli bent apple. 68 degrees and sunny. On our way to snow and 17 for a low tomorrow.
Upon reflection (I engage in that before acting infrequently but on occasion) I realized I didn't know how to tell it without sounding more self-congratulatory than usual.
I need to modify my above post because just before packing the Fantail I remembered my new Marxman which has only had a couple of smokes so far. The bowl is really big frankly, bigger than I would usually smoke but it’s such a lovely pipe and in great condition and beautiful grain with just a couple of tiny fills. I have no idea of the date on this but there’s a little crosshatched circle on the stem but most importantly of all it smokes like a dream. Filled with MacB Golden Extra at the moment and going down nicely with a very smokey Aerstone Land Cask single malt. 
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Janneman is an excellent bright VA flake. If I had to compare it to something mainstream I’d say it’s most similar to Reiner Long Golden Flake or OGS. Ages superbly.
