HH ODF in a Dr. Grabow Freehand. The pipe was purchased at a local Drugstore in 2009 with a bag of SuperValue Vanilla. It was smoked 5-6 times and retired after tongue blisters and an entire Bic lighter burned out trying to keep it lit. The tobacco was tossed 10 years ago. I just found it in a box of odds and ends. It’s smoking really well today.A89C1678-1ED5-4DCE-9495-C93A37F6239C.jpeg

Did a second set with my neighbor who we took to his doctor today, and who needed to walk on this beautiful, warm sunny day. I smoked a bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.

Mark Irwin author of the Peterson Pipe Book writes a weekly blog.
A month or so back he had this one. I signed up to order one and upon arrival it immediately went into service. He has a waiting list and there is talk of a second order happening. Check out the blog on Sundays
