Almost half way through this bowl of year 2012 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a medium bend black sandblasted 1925 Dunhill double patent “Shell” 56/10 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Soon to have Peretti Cambridge Flake as first smoke in this new-to-me and newly 'reamed n' cleaned' and sterilized etc. 1950's era pre-Cadogan Comoy's Sandblast 292 Made in London England medium billiard with three-piece C logo on the vulcanite stem. First Comoy's pipe for me!

Haha. Good eye Fralphog. Nope, I never was in the service. I fished this, and another dopp kit like bag, from our tool shed trash can in at work. Most of the snaps are busted off, but it works for me. I keep odds and ends in them. Sometimes a pipe and a pouch, too!

Cool! It’s a very handy load bearing and equipment carrying system. In 38 years of Army, I saw a lot a kit come and go. When I first enlisted in 1980, we were still wear the ol steel pot helmet. I think I saw 6 different fatigue uniforms. Anyway, I’ve got several pieces of MOLLE gear I use for day hikes and hunting.

Today's estate pipe is one I was really excited to get as part of an auction lot win. I've been wanting a lattice meer for a while now and this is a nice one. Maker unknown, but it has a coffee and cream swirl stem, it's good sized, and it smokes great. Packed with Sutliff D40 Vanilla.

Not bad for less than $20!
