@SBC I was smoking Yorktown in my clay pipe at the Redcoats & Revolutionaries event when the blacksmith lit it with an ember from his forge. A good description; I found it burns hot if you aren't careful but not like gunpowder - or ClanYorktown in my early "French Briar" with bakelite.

It's my first time trying Yorktown. A little one dimensional, light, not sweet, hay, toasted bread, maybe a whisper of spice. Can give a rough edge if you're not gentle with it. Fine for the price.
If that lovely pipe were mine I would call it ‘the snail’
