Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2018 Mac Baren Acadian Perique in a straight smooth brown 1933-36 KBB Yello-Bole Honey Cured Briar 2384 Acorn with a tapered yellow rock ambra stem.
Spurred on by a recent thread on Stanwell pipes I've decided to take out 2 of my Anne Julie designed canted eggs, Shape 35b.
Possibly my favourite Danish pipe shape.
This 2nd pipe is a Stanwell "Danish Natural" Shape 35b
Both this and the previous pipe are both stamped "Made in Denmark"
There is a plethora of Stanwell lines and seconds - I have absolutely no idea of their heirachy.
This "Danish Natural" has pretty "meh" grain.
The previous "Danish Souvereign", a second line, has pretty nice sandblast, and in my opinion, is the nicer of the two.

Yes, this bent canted egg by Anne Julie is probably my favourite Danish pipe shape of all.

Just finished smoking 2015 Viprati in a 2018 smooth straight flame grain Basil Meadows Merchant Service "Bing" replica with an aluminum band and black ebonite stem.
Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.
That's a great looking meer. I just showed it to my wife, who loves owls, and she wants me to get one.
Gosh! I'm old enough to remember when cigars filled a whole box. Is this what they call shrinkflation?
Very detailed as well, the flat image doesn't really do it justice.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2017 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Going to light up Esoterica Dunbar (2021) in a Savinelli 320 KS Author made for the Woodbridge location of the Old Virginia Tobacco Company (circa 2007), stamped "OVTC" on the shank, with their ship logo on the stem.

Finished work, and close to finishing this bowl of D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem.
Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Last smoke of the day is 1960s Philip Morris Revelation in a mid-1970s smooth brown medium bend Ed Burak Connoisseur bulldog with an acrylic black saddle stem.
