Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Finished work a little early to spend some time with Tomato the Brave since I know he wants some company.

Going to have Esoterica Tobacciana Margate (2021) in the third birthday pipe, a Briar Root (Freehand? Dublin? No idea what to call this organically shaped pipe) from the collection of the late pipemaker, Thomas Cristiano.

My birthday dinner was panko encrusted salmon with fried rice and broccoli.

Susan made birthday carrot cake for dessert.

We’re probably going to have this Fonseca’s 1977 Vintage Port that I’ve been sitting on for a number of years—about once every decade, a stellar vintage gets released; classic years have been 1955, 1963, and 1977; the 1977 vintage had a number of nearly perfect 100 ratings from a few different housesView attachment 201925
Happy Birthday to you.

Sunday morning, 3:56am, and coming towards the end of Sci-Fi Saturday night on MeTV; and, just waiting for The Invaders to come on at 5am. I may not make it, so this might be the last pipe of the night.

This humble MM Cob Diplomat apple with bent plastic stem is one of the best smokers in my entire collection - believe it, or not !! It is VERY VERY well smoked and like an old reliable friend, or a favorite pair of broken-in jeans.

I've loaded-up by opening my last tin of my Peterson University Flake.

I'm having hot green tea and these wonderfully sweet corn muffins which Wifey gets from me at Shop-Rite for my 'before bed' snack. I'm reminded that in his voluminous personal correspondence with other pulp-fiction authors of his day, H.P. Lovecraft - one of my favorite writer's of weird fiction - would wax eloquent and at-length about the cheap store-brand powered donuts from the A&P Supermarket... So, I figure I'm in good company. - Sherm Natman

The wind and rain were fierce, and I couldn't sleep, so I'm just passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in a post-2000 straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem.

Laid out some several year old Russ’ Cavedish in the Woods to dry a spell, which I will be smoking later in this fine Yello-Bole Jumbo Bent Billiard, 3168C, with hand drawn cap of the finest nickle plated brass stamped with exclusive KB&B Shamrock logo, hand cut German black Vulcanite stem with rare hand inlaid yellow vulcanite harvested and formulated by elves in the Hartz mountains. The mount on this pipe is an improvement over the Peterson System mount, as there no chimney to impede airflow, indeed a graduated opening that tapers up the graceful stem allowing lower pressure at the well enhancing condensation and drying of the smoke. A hIghly coveted Algerian briar stummel displaying the finest grain rounds out this exquisite specimen.

Good Sunday morning all. Up way too early. A day of sport kicks off with Premier League footie. Later there is the annual festive finale of the North American Hand-Egg game, often misnomered as football. I will start my smoking day with Eight State Burley in my Rossi 311 Poker, and then I have Fillmore lined up in a variety of pipes.
