Just passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Kentucky in an undated family era Sasieni Natural Four Dot Grosvenor smooth medium brown quarter bend bulldog with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

halfway through unstoved MB Vanilla Flake in the Lorenzo Sponge Chimney. Such gorgeous flakes! Tin was opened in December..last week plenty of vanilla flavor off the flake...today... easy light, burning fine.. not much vanilla to it at all, today. The stoved certainly delivered. lesson learned: jar up my vanilla flake right away to better save the flavor... but still, just last week was satisfyingly vanilla-y. it's still there but just barely today (possible just not tasting it after the earlier HH pure virginia flake?). With decaf au lait. The Lorenzo (natural unwaxed) has just a few bowls on it now and it has really been darkening fast.
