That's very cool, man. It reminds me that I haven't seen Shy Stripesy lately. I don't know for sure, but I think Tomato the Brave has scared her away. Stripesy is very skitish, and afraid of durn near everything. I have fed her for two years, and she's still afraid of me. Hope she's okay. This is for @JimInks This is our feral cat, Wild Cat or Chip as my daughter, Leslie, call him. He watches me every morning as I smoke my pipe. I thought you might enjoy knowing there are other feral cat lovers out there. She's been with us for over five years, there every morning and night. She offers us mice and birds as a thank you from time to time. View attachment 203274
@telescopes who do you send to for cleaning and ozoning? At my computer with a second bowl of Dunhill EMP, drier than I might like it, but apparently perfect for others, LOL.
Very happy with this reconditioned Marxman pipe. @shermnatman , now you see another Marxman in the WAYS. Looking forward to what you might acquire in the future. My recommendation is to get them professionally cleaned and ozoned. Why, the Algerian briar, being softer, seems to soak up years of unattended abuse. But what a joy they are once thoroughly cleaned and made new. By the way, the Algerian briar seems to really soak up the stain that Marxman used, which was according to Marxman, a "trade secret". Only a few of the carvers supposedly new the formula. It shines up nicely, even years and years later.
