Now smoking aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-1952 (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

@JOHN72 stay strong my friend? Best wishes and Gods speed for your wife’s recovery.Good afternoon. No smoking so far. Now it's my wife's turn with covid. But she only has a sore throat and her blood sugar is a bit out of control because of the covid, as she is diabetic. So I don't want her to be uncomfortable smelling of tobacco. I can handle it, I admit I miss not being able to smoke something. There came a bad time in my life. After many years, I lost my job. And it is quite humiliating and frustrating. After almost 30 years working. Spain is the most unemployed country in the European Community. Since the eighties, until today, the cavernicola employment system of this country is disgusting. Now I have already said it, I could not hold my rage and my anger any longer. Sorry guys. I am sorry to talk about this, I am ashamed.
My friend JOHN, no need to be ashamed ! Shit happens and you brush yourself off and start again. In todays world people shift jobs constantly and think nothing of it. You're a good man and don't let it get to ya. In my thoughts My Brother...I am ashamed.
Thank you dear friend Dino. I fully agree with you. I am glad to belong to this beautiful brotherhood of smokers. And I wish you a speedy recovery. I like those wise words from ancient Greece. God bless you and your family.John72, we Greeks say, perastika, which means "get well soon."
I, too, have Covid, but a relatively mild case. The most challenging symptom has been the diminution of taste buds and sense of smell, making it useless to fire up a pipe.
I so enjoy reading about my friends' satisfaction of their pipes and tobaccos on this thread. It gives me a wonderful sense of vicarious sharing, as I wait to light up my first post Covid bowl.
All of you, my friends, Stay well!
Hope you will be well soon. After I finish my bowl I will drink a glass of my beloved Ouzo of Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis for your health. I plan on visiting your beautiful country again this summer.John72, we Greeks say, perastika, which means "get well soon."
