Now smoking KBV Mona Lisa Overdrive in a medium bend 2001 Ural lattice Rhodesian with a yellow with white swirls acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Working on a review of this blend, which goes on sale tomorrow.
A bowl of the No #3 Crumble Cake, in a smaller Peterson Diplomat.
I'll be making my pilgrimage to Jackson MS tonight, and I'll spend the day at The Country Squire tomorrow (Saturday the 5th). If any of you are local to that area, shoot me a PM, would love to meet up and get to know some more of the pipe smokers in these ranks!
Having Early Morning Pipe in a Super-Temp THE SMOKE Graduate (more of a Bent Dublin than a Rhodesian?) circa 1971. It's a phenolic resin pipe with a pyrolytic graphite sleeve (sort of like a Meerschaum lined briar, except this is a graphite lined plastic pipe with a nylon stem).
As promised (to myself at least), a bowl of new-to-me tobacco -- will be in my Pete smooth Aran 408. There's a small chance I'll have another (different) after lunch. Y'all clearly will know if it happens.
Hope everyone has easy finishes to their weeks and good weekends ahead.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking KBV Hand of Gotz in a black pebble finish straight 2003 Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend, which will be on sale tomorrow.
GLP Barbary Shore, burley and Virginia with Perique and brandy, in a Savinelli Pannocchia bent billiard KS 606. This is a good blend, one of my favorites of GLP, really carefully proportioned.
