Funny how blends find pipes. Or is it pipes find blends?

Either way, this Nate King Bamboozled Troll Stoker is now my go-to vaper pipe. Today is a bowl of C&D's Savinelli 140th Anniversary blend.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and snow peas dinner with grapes and strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink for now.

Beautiful pipe Jim, the natural finnish is absolutely breathtaking ! I couldn’t believe it when I first heard that Peterson was reproducing the 4AB! I’m pretty young but a few years ago I discovered Basil Rathbone’s Sherlock, then Mark Irwin’s writings. I’ve been hooked on the shape ever since! I was able to score #435 in the rusticated finish, it’s perfect! I keep sending Peterson and Smokingpipes emails asking them to bring it back to their normal lineup along with all the other 309 versions. Fingers crossed. ? I honestly think it would be a profitable shape in light of the attention it’s gotten by you, Mark and others especially after the 309 was dropped in 2013.
Thank you for your work in helping put this pipe in our hands again!

Starting off my smoking day with this bowl from a first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Have enough left for a couple of bowls.
