I hope this storm blows itself out by Thursday as I'm volunteering with Don Catchment Rivers Trust; should have a lot of work to do!

It’s my birthday. So, I treated myself to this new Savinelli. Virginia is blessed with a sunny day in the mid 40’s. My dog and I are taking advantage of our deck. I took a cavalier attitude toward conditioning my new pipe, forgoing conventional wisdom in that regard, by smoking a leisurely bowl of this Plum Pudding in bare, nekkid briar. Enjoy The day.View attachment 125693
That’s a beauty. ?️Enjoying my first ever bowl of Capstan Blue Flake as my second bowl in this IMP

I'm finally enjoying Virginias as part of my ongoing effort to smoke more slowly. I agree with one reviewer who claims Capstan Blue contains cinnamon ?

Dorchester is one of my favorites. It’s a great example of topping applied right. It’s compliments the ?. ?️Only smoked a quarter of the bowl of Esoterica Dorchester last night in my Radice Rind Straight. Finishing up the rest today.
Quite a different flavor after sitting stewing in the bowl overnight. More robust, darker in flavors, with that fruity Esoterica profile in the background.
If you didn’t like what you smoked, smoke only some, then let it sit over night and try again the next day, or do this for blends you like, for something different the next day!
