Looks splendid ... apart from the different design of the silver mount on the stem with the engraving it's like an after restoration photo of this one WHC Cased Bulldog :: British Pipes - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/whc-cased-bulldog.40958/

It's the very same pipe.
It used to belong to member Klause.
I fixed the silver mount in the wrong orientation accidentally when it came loose ?

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, two big, thick pork chops and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of Sutliff Cringle Flake (Holiday Edition 2021) in a black straight, grain etched family era (Post WW2) Four Dot Sasieni “Appleby” apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

The Boise Pipe Club moved their meeting from Thursday night to today for IPSD. My first time being able to attend.
I had a great time meeting some local pipe smokers.
Smoked my mix of 75% Boswell’s Best Arro and 25% C&D Latakia in a House of Robertson Billiard.
I won the drawing for a tin of Balkan Sobranie!
Anyone know how to read date codes on these tins?

An unexpected day off due to a sudden train strike - no suburban or inter-urban trains running in Sydney today.
Taking the opportunity to enjoy a couple of bowls this afternoon

1st up is Peterson's Irish Flake
In a gourd calabash bought in the 1970s . Only identification is "AUSTRIA" stamped on the briar shank extension.
