Just as a matter of interest there's also a Baronfil pipe designed for "the new small cartridge"

You have quite the collection of goodies sir, it must be said. ?
Have you ever come across those 'Smoke o Roll' pipes? An early 20th Century American pipe (I think). Sort of a Cutty/Horn shape which took paper wrapped fills of tobacco? Similar to something Dunhill used to do if I remember rightly.
Good afternoon.

Good Morning gentlemen! Another beautiful Florida day, the type of day that makes you happy to be alive whether you be rich or poor just so long as you have a pipe and some tobacco in your pocket. I am starting my day off with Coniston Cut Plug in the below meerschaum 'cutty' pipe circa 1900 according to the hallmarks but it might be older you never can tell as repair bands were often hallmarked. Later this morning I will move onto this twist that I prepared last night but was still too damp for my first bowl of the day. Enjoy your day and I'll catch up with everyone later after the Pipe Stud 11 AM tobacco auction!

I also now understand that it was made for a pre-made wad to insert straight into the bowl. Nonetheless it doesn’t do a bad job of filling, something I’m perfectly capable of but who doesn’t like a gadget.

Afternoon everyone, I started off with Tuskegee Airman in this Grabow Commodore (great pipes, among the best DrG made).
I’m moving on to Black Frigate in the Kiko meer poker and then Moztek Hooy’s Takia in my new cob.

I just broke a promise to myself and ordered a couple of tins of G’s 1820 mix, it comes along so infrequently that I felt compelled to do it. Got a tin of 1792 also as I haven’t had any for a while.

Crap weather here so I won’t be doing much outdoors today, plenty to do inside anyway. image.jpg

It a tactile thing for me. How’s the Kiko poker colouring for you, not seen you post it since I’ve been back?
Hey Birddog
I’ve been smoking it and I really like it but I need to figure out how to reclock the screw in stem. When tightened it sits a few degrees out of square to the world which is annoying.
