Pruning (to me) is a cerebral, contemplative task. I’m never in a hurry to cut off a branch. I have to study the tree and decide how I want to shape and develop each limb. So, smoking some baccy while you study the tree is very complementary and enjoyable.

Yes sir, I did eat the duck. I have several recipes I like. My favorite thing to do with duck and geese is make pastrami.
I enjoy your posts about clay pipes and attending reenactments.
Been thinking about picking up a clay pipe.
