Just finished smoking year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Going to take a little forum break to take care of some personal business.

Here
I spent the last 3 days in a whirlwind of flights and rental cars, viewing houses for my eventual move to eastern Tennessee.

I sustained myself during that period with a cigar each evening in from of the hotel.

Now, I'm back home and very much enjoying my pipe full of ODF RR in a Viking Classic Dublin.

Decided it was time to open one of the C&D blends I’ve got (minus a We Three Kings I’m saving for the 2023 holidays). Went with the Super Balkan in my fairly small Scotts sandblast Dublin (there may be a better description). When I imagine what pipe tobacco tastes and smells like — this is pretty much it.

It’s hot in LA today — will be the warm super bowl we’re being promised. Go Rams!

Saturday evening, hot red spicy drink in the mug, first bowl of a new pouch with Orlik Golden Sliced in the Charles Towne Cobbler pipe, cod fish soup is boiling for dinner... Sometimes life is good. Can also be a real bitch. I guess the secret is to enjoy the moments. All wise men say so. Sounds simple but it's not. The good thing is that we, pipe smokers, now a bit more about it...
