Good morning everyone, while I decide what to put through the 1886 Charles Maas briar I’m smoking a MM Morgan with 1792 to which I added small pinch of Kendal medium cut Lat.

I was watching these two that you recently won at auction curious to find out what they were going to make and I must admit that the final price doesn't seem unreasonable for an unsmoked pair.

Yeah, i picked up half pound a couple weeks ago. It's similiar to the MacB twists imo. I believe newminster is actually made by Mac Baren if i recall correctly. To me it's comparable to the Dark Twist Roll Cake. Give it a try!

Just finished a very enjoyable bowl of Solani 633 in my recently acquired IMP billiard. I really like this pipe and I’m about 6 bowls into it. It smokes like a champ - very dry with very few relights, no matter what I pack it with. Its got a big chamber and will smolder for well over 2 hours loaded with flake. It’s starting to show some color already which is a little surprising.

Getting ready to reload it with some Sutliff Revelation Match.

About half way through this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

I was pretty happy and surprised it was as reasonable too. I’ve wanted clays and never wanted a true clay. I saw these and rode it out.
