Breaking my palate back in after a weather related hiatus from pipe smoking. When the Royal Yacht starts tasting good again, I'll know I've achieved it. Smoking it in a Richmond pot. It's a John Redman but apparently Sasieni made a 'Richmond' as well, though I have absolutely no explanation for the dots on the stem. Whoever made it, it's a fine pipe with great grain and wonderful natural finish.

Part way through this bowl of Sept. 2015 Savinelli Doblone d’Oro in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This should get me to dinner time.
