I reallyy love the Porto Sevo series and this one is the next on my list of Savs I’d like to get.
You shan't regret it. Fell in love on sight (which is rare for me, I have far stronger TAD than PAD), and it smokes like a champ. The wide chamber is great for burleys, and as someone who doesn't clench much, the rustication really gives it a fantastic feel in the hand.

Hell, I almost sound like a salesman now. I'd get a tweed sport jacket if it didn't cut into my TAD budget...

Indonesia still allows smoking in outdoor spaces, so I’m taking advantage while catching up on work at a Starbucks in Jakarta.

This city is very similar to Manila in many ways: densely populated, ridiculous traffic, and lots of construction. I did notice a major difference in general discipline and far less focus on consumerism by the population.

I’m hypothesizing it has a lot to do with the greater emphasis on the spiritual/religious here. An anecdotal observation: rather than two banks on each block as is the case in Manila, there is a mosque or church on nearly every block.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2020 Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the first third of this bowl of well-aged Art’s Virginia from my late friend Art Arterburn. The blend is 80% McClelland Va and 20% McClelland burley.
Ah, you've inspired an idea. I'm thinking my own version of Art's Virginia, without knowing your late friend but a tribute to him. McClelland Virginia Woods or McClelland Christmas Cheer '06 (same 80%) with my McClelland Burley concoction (same 20%). Then, a Mac Baren version using Va#1 plus some Golden Extra should be good.

And as long as I'm using inspiration from you = dinners this weekend will be Baked Chicken and Roasted Broccoli with fresh Pineapple for dessert. Healthy nutrition is foremost.

Near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2002 smooth top, black sandblasted quarter bend military mount Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a horn insert in the ferrule and black acrylic stem. Been traffic copping feral feeding.

Art, who was a very dear friend and a great man, would have approved of your post. So do I. :)

I was still hungry, so I ate some strawberries, and am smoking year 2012 Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Dunno if I have another smoke before bed time or not.

How about prices for pipe tobacco and cigarettes in Philippines, are those high or still acceptable?
