Enjoyed a bowl of Watch City's Flake #558 in my Savinelli 2023 Saint Nicholas bent billiard (606 KS), that my wife bought me for my Birthday last month. First time using this pipe, a great smoker, and I enjoy the beautiful stem that takes on a different look in the sunlight. Really enjoying #558 too. I'm not one to retrohale often, but I find myself enjoying it a lot with this blend. Unseasonably warm in the mid-50's today, great day overall.

The Lower Forty of Hill Country
Vintage Kentucky Club Mixture in a 1962 Dunhill Shell Group 4 billiard. This is the pipe whose bowl that I cracked months ago by warming it with a hair-dryer after waxing. Georged recommended that I simply ignore the crack and smoke it as usual; I finally tried that today and it handled the Kentucky Club Mixture beautifully!

Incidentally, the description on the back of the tin reads, "A truly modern mixture for modern tastes. Skillfully blended from five choice imported and domestic tobaccos, Turkish, Perique, White Burley, Carolina and Virginia Brights. Slow-aged. Cool-burning, very mild and refreshingly aromatic."
