Trying Captain Black Dark for the first time tonight, in my little Morgan Bones Milan.
After thoroughly saturating my noggin in nicotine with Coniston Cut Plug, I wanted to keep smoking a pipe but had already had plenty of Vitamin N so I decided to try something really low nicotine and popped open the jar of Captain Black Dark I've had on my shelf for the past year or so. It ended up being a good pick for the occasion too! Impeccably smooth with a gentle retrohale, a nice mellow sugary sweet vanilla chocolatey caramel flavor, and a delightful confectionary shop room note.
Even though my usual go-to smokes are heavy hitting dark fired blends and pure Virginias, I still really enjoy an easygoing sweet aromatic now and then too. If getting nicotine from your pipe isn't a concern and you like sweet stuff then I'd say Captain Black Dark is pretty darn good!

A coin of DNR fits perfectly in this pipe for an hour smoke. This Kai Rhodesian is pretty much dedicated to that blend.

Thanks Ben. There definitely will be some experimenting to find how it wants to be smoked. Bowl diameter about .68”. It will be a great little Virginia pipe just have to find the sweet spot!

I watched it but think the original with Richard Chamberlain was done better. Just my $.02
Low Country VaOr in the Bones for the first pipe of the day. 
I liked it so much that I almost went back to back bowls. But, I wanted to compare it to OJK so I had some of that. Would buy more Haunted Bookshop for sure.
