Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Abner the Eager was on my lap for a while, and now he's by my feet. Everybody else is snoozin'. M'lady and I are watching The Jim Abbott Story.

GH&Co Bosun in a Butz Choquin Bagatelle bent billiard. I think this is the best this blend has ever smoked. Thinking about a dear relative that went into the hospital last night. I visited a close friend last night who's battling brain cancer. Big dose of "this is life", lately.
Throw in Dark Flake Scented and you’ve got a real problem of picking a favorite!Coniston Cut Plug in a Dr. Grabow Lark tonight. It's kind of a tossup between Coniston Cut Plug and 1792 Flake for which is my favorite blend at the moment!

I've actually smoked Dark Flake Scented 4 days this past week! It's got a great and wholly unique flavor, though unfortunately the 50% Burley content in Dark Flake really beat the heck out of my throat; since for some reason my mouth chemistry just hates Burley. As far as I can tell there's no Burley at all in 1792 though, and only 12.5% Burley in Coniston Cut Plug, so those don't bother me one bit. I'm also a big fan of Kendal Dark, though I'm still trying to make up my mind about Bosun Cut Plug cause it's a real weird one!

Just finished smoking D&R Penhooker in a smooth brown late 1890s, early 1900s unbranded military mount bulldog with a silver windcap and spigot with a black vulcanite, flared stem and orific bit. Time for an apple, and to feed the ferals.
Almost half way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
