It’s a weird smoke I haven’t quite figured it out yet. So far I’ve had coin cut and shredded and in both briar and meerschaum. I wouldn’t equate it to anise but it has a slight hint of fennel or something similar to anise with an occasional sweetness of a dark fired leaf.GH Aniseed Twist - the tobacco intrigues me. NA up here but Sir Walter Raleigh is - it too is anise undertoned, which I love. How do they compare? Maybe one day when sanity rules . . . .
It’s base is obviously good tobacco
and the nicotine hit is medium to upper medium.
