HU Tuarekh in a Paul Becker pot. I had to work on this pipe. Some ding bat drilled it out with a huge bit and it was like smoking air. Between the really wide chamber and a huge draw it didnt work. Now it does. That is one of the occasional let downs of estates.

How did you adjust it? Did you insert a metal tube/sleeve?

Near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

My vote for Coolest Cob extent !

I love it, and it smokes well, but it may not be as cool as you think—the high contrast of the bowl is created by light yellow paint on the high areas of the cob, and the cob pattern on the shank is printed on wood. But, maybe that’s part of what makes it cool. I dig it, regardless.

Sutliff 507-C Flake in the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard with 9mm filter.

I had about a 1/3rd of a bowl left after running to the store to get coffee for Christmas and decided to finish it. After I got it lit I thought I'll go get the mail and started to walk down the path to the driveway and to the mailbox. As I took a step into the driveway I heard a very short high pitched attempt at a squeal followed by a rasp ... I immediately backed up the path and decided I'll get the mail tomorrow ... although I didn't see it I knew immediately what it was ... the great horned owl is hunting on the hillside along the driveway and it is very low and close to the driveway and didn't want me to disturb its future dinner ! Its either on the ground or low in the pine tree. Junk mail can wait !

Aniseed Twist, sliced very thin and rubbed out well moist into a Shaggy ribbon, then dried to taste.
Very tasty, and seems just a touch lighter than the other brown based twists.
Behaving very nicely in the little capital ROPPJ11

RIP my beloved J11P.
I got sidetracked today hooking up and fixing issues on an ancient camper I was moving for a friend today, and I believe left it on my bumper.
Of course SPcom has no more in stock, I hope Ropp has some in the pipeline still, it was my favorite work briar.

Wow! I love that meer. Green with envy…….

I have only seen one or two others in the last few years and kind of regret not getting them as backups. I love this pipe, but had a hard time justifying getting more of the same pipe when this one was working fine (said the guy with double digit quantities of more than one Savinelli shape  ).

I’m hoping all is well with Jason (@Birddog66). He hasn’t posted in many moons, but has dropped by as recently as a month ago.
I see he was sick for a while back in November, and hasn't posted since. I hope he's recovered. But he and I were posting concurrently here for two months, and I've never been to Newhaven, so I am definitely not him, and he isn't me.
