Royal Twist in a Satou. This is not nearly as bitey as I expected. I just got 2 tins since I’d never tried it.
Comparing this blend to Cringle, since they are 2 new to me, limited release vapers, Royal Twist wins, hands down. Maybe crinkle needs some age but it’s super bitey for me.

If you've ever tried them, do you have any thoughts on how it compares to the old Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky or Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong? The descriptions sound like it might be similar.
Haven’t tried those but the Kentucky is barely there for me in Royal twist, it’s definitely doing its job but nothing more.

Did a little digging through my mason jars and found some 10yr old Orlik Golden Sliced. Smoking it in a Stanwell Sterling Silver Billiard shape 29. I forgo polishing the silver band in favor of the patina.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaican Blue Mountain, neat, is my drink. Enjoying my weekly pipe zoom.
Rinse and repeat. BSF in the Altinay. Christmas festival successfully avoided. Had to divert attention by knocking out a few more honey do’s. After cleaning and reorganizing my gun and pipe room better known as my office, cleaning the toilets and a couple of loads of laundry I realized my wife had out smarted me again.
