2021 We Three Kings in a Peterson 2021 Christmas Strand
Season’s Greetings, All.
I’ve been busy with my Christmas tradition of waiting until the last possible moment to wrap all the gifts. Now that that task has been completed, it’s time to relax with a bowl of KBV Santa Drive, in a handsome and brand new MM with an acrylic swirled stem that anonymously showed up in my mailbox a few days ago. The wife doesn’t claim to be the generous benefactor, so it has to be one great members of this forum. Thank you, Anonymous, I love it!

Good day and warm pipes to all! Due to the ambient temperature in the smoking louge aka garage being 44 degrees (in Florida) I'm having a short bowl of Cringle Flake 2022 in a small Burak Connoisseur smooth Tankard with tapered stem size 2.

Finally after two days off of the pipe, neg 30 degree weather, it's finally warming up!
Todays dumbass tip - if you are smoking in the garage, cover the mug of freshly poured over coffee with something and you won’t have to run in the house every ten minutes to ruin it in the microwave!
Maybe this year Santa will bring me those extra brain cells.
Or failing that, a travel mug.
4 this morning at my house. It's now 24. Don't think I've ever seen Temps this low in my 30 years living in GA, even the mountains.
I'm registered on the PSD forum as well (mainly to be able to see the pictures full-size), but don't post there, either. I'm trying to resist, as I already spend way too much time chatting about pipes and tobacco here.
Had to go out to the garage to get a filter wrench to open this previously opened tin of three nuns. What a seal! Unreal. Put what I needed into an Orlik Perfect and jarred the rest. Now to enjoy this with a little coffee.

50 degrees this morning, so I had to take advantage. After our usual Shabbat breakfast of eggs, turkey bacon and buttermilk biscuits (and coffee, of course...I'd fly into a murderous rage without it), I went right outside for a bowl of Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake in my Stefano Santambrogio bent Rhodesian. Wifey even kept me company w/a cigarillo. The clock is ticking though...starting Tuesday, we're getting rain every day for a week plus.
Bird report: California towhee, Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, House finch, Dark-eyed junco, California thrasher, White-crowned sparrow, and Common raven. Just had a lox & bagels lunch, and preparing to get my ass kicked at Scrabble. Again.
This smoke was dedicated to my paternal grandmother, who would be 104 today.
