Drew Estate Central Park Stroll in my Savinelli Tortuga 614 faux-Hungarian. Got one sealed tin remaining of this blend in the highly coveted (by me anyways) Drew Estate section of my cellar. One day, when it's all gone, I'll try to blend equal parts MacB's Burley London Blend and Vanilla Cream and see if I can't concoct my own match blend. Just another honorable activity for my geriatric years, along with golf and kvetching....except I do all of these things at 37.

Bird report: Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, California quail, California scrub-jay, California towhee, Dark-eyed junco, White-crowned sparrow, California thrasher, and my favorite bird, the Mountain chickadee. Low 40s and sunny right now...we seem to be getting mostly spared from the wallop most of you folks are dealing with at the moment. Ours will come Tuesday and be here for several days. I wonder if the Rose Parade will get rained out; that'd be a first!

Enjoying MB Navy Flake in a Joy Old Elf pipe my father-in-law got me for christmas. For a super cheap amazon pipe it smokes surprisingly well. Not sure how long it will last but it was a very thoughtful gesture.

We’re up to -9 but it’s 62 in the garage! Working out tomorrow’s dinner preparation schedule and looking at Spanakopita recipes - for some reason while grocery shopping I was hit with an appetizer inspiration - yum. Doing a little comparison - 2019 Cringle Flake on the left, 2007 Christmas Cheer on the right. Enjoying the CF in a little Morgan “Bones” I thought would be worth a try and this little pipe burns cool and draws nicely - anyone wanting a first pipe for $45 or just a darn nice pipe, period, would be pretty happy with one of these, IMO). The CC will be in a festive 1995 Nording Hunter Pheasant. Sitting on my stool hunched over like Bob Cratchit - Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

have two of those Brulor pipes and they smoke very well. Small chambers, just what Ilike! Enjoy.

Smoking a delicious bowl of Derriston in an SMS short lattice billiard meer. I didn’t care for this pipe until I learned how to smoke it! Now I love it. Drinking iced coffee and waiting for the plumber.

In 19 degree weather and strong winds, I did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Not sure I'll do another today.

C&D Red Virginia Ribbon in a George Boyadjiev. I stopped by George’s workshop to pickup my Christmas commission and have him put a fresh coat of Carnuba on a couple of pipes he’s made for me.

@PipeIT i asked about stem color. He has black ebonite, white juma, black acrylic and a random rod of a funky yellow acrylic.
