A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

First try of C&D Pegasus in my MM Mini-cob. Wowzers! Definitely a where-have-you-been-all-my-life moment. I'll have to see what a full bowl is like another time, but man...this one might even dethrone my current favorite of the genre, Eight State Burley.

Bird report: California scrub-jay, California quail, California towhee, California thrasher (any guesses as to where my location is?), House finch, White-crowned sparrow, Oak Titmouse, Dark-eyed junco, White-breasted nuthatch, Spotted Towhee, and Common raven.

Happy smokes folks! Hey, that rhymes...
Pegasus was the first C & D Burley I'd tried, and I loved it. I ordered the 8 state Burley because I liked Pegasus so much and I found that while 8 state was good, Pegasus was the one for me. It's even better with a few months to a year in the jar.
