Your post inspired me to get some Pegasus out and fire it up. Yep just as incredible as the last time I had it. It’s one of those blends that could be the only thing I smoke and I wouldn’t miss much.First try of C&D Pegasus in my MM Mini-cob. Wowzers! Definitely a where-have-you-been-all-my-life moment. I'll have to see what a full bowl is like another time, but man...this one might even dethrone my current favorite of the genre, Eight State Burley.
Bird report: California scrub-jay, California quail, California towhee, California thrasher (any guesses as to where my location is?), House finch, White-crowned sparrow, Oak Titmouse, Dark-eyed junco, White-breasted nuthatch, Spotted Towhee, and Common raven.
Happy smokes folks! Hey, that rhymes...
Hi @LeafErikson. O absolutely love Old Gowrie. It is one of my favorites. I've held off from smoking it as I had a limited stash. I recently re-upped so I've been enjoying it this month. I also really like Brown Clunee which is considered a sibling. I snagged some Hal o' The Wynd in the recent drop it is another sibling and I'd been curious. Gonna let it sit in a jar for three months first though.I think we have similar palates cause we smoke a lot of the same stuff so I gotta question for ya. Did you like old gowrie? Never tried it but if it worked for you I’ll likely give it a go.
Pegasus is one of the staples in my cellar. Wonderful blend, glad you're enjoying it. Happy smokes!First try of C&D Pegasus in my MM Mini-cob. Wowzers! Such a cool pipe! - looks well smoked since the last time I saw it.GH Grousemore Plug in a late 1800’s Lowe Meerschaum Egg restored by Ryan Alden

I love the look of this one. So many great pipes being posted lately.Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs, and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Matching pipes to four KBV beta test blends.

I smoke that pipe at least once a day. It’s really a favorite. I’m so glad Ryan took on the challenge of resurrecting it.Such a cool pipe! - looks well smoked since the last time I saw it.
