Just finished a bowl of Wessex Gold Slice in my apple Medico Meerschaum.
Good morning all. I’m smoking Vauen No. 14 in a Country Gentleman. Sitting on the porch and sipping coffee with bourbon cream, on this sunny 50f morning. Saw my son and his girlfriend off this morning as they begin their trip back to Alexandria VA. and now have a few hours to rest before we have to attend one last Christmas event. Cheers!
got this chubby comoys last night from my aunt for christmas. totally unexpected. looks really chunky and heavy but its light and so comfortable to clench. enjoying some match ready rubbed for its maiden voyage.

Preparing my next smoke, Doblone d’Oro in my ‘70s era Preben Holm Freehand Sitter.
I don’t smoke my Danish Freehand’s much anymore, but they are an early part of my pipe smoking journey so I enjoy keeping them around. This pipe has an almost 3” deep chamber so this will be a longer than usual smoke. I think I’ll try to finish reading Kitchen Confidential while smoking this.
