Happy, happy, birthday Cosmic! My oldest daughter brought me a fist full of different Kristoff cigars for my birthday. I asked her what made her pick out Kistoff brands, and she said that she asked the guy to help her pick out cigars for a guy who likes them strong enough to kill mere mortals, haha. I love that girl. And, kudos to her for picking up a couple of Corojo Limitadas for the mix.
I have the same pipe in the sandblast finish. Seriously good smoker2016 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1855 Virginia in an Orlik L289 Stacked Billiard.

Because a couple of key sources they used are no longer accessible. The best anybody can make is inferior copies, and all that will happen then is a bunch of whiners complaining that they aren't as good as the originals. Not to mention the fear of the FDA rules, and the high cost of equivalency tests companies would have to pay to do it.That’s a shame, I can’t for the life of me figure out why no one is making McLelland Match blends. A Dark Star Match would fly off the shelves.
How is it?
No access to the recipes or knowledge of the processes has been shared. The McNiel's didn't want the McClelland name or legacy bastardized by inferior materials or corner cutting.I can’t for the life of me figure out why no one is making McLelland Match blends.
Lighting it is very off putting (MINT!!!) though I didn't allow it any drying time. A few minutes on a paper towel would do it some good. After settling in for smoking, it's very good. Lots of dark chocolate taste and peppermint cooling in the nose. I'm buying more.?How is it?
