That’s a shame, I can’t for the life of me figure out why no one is making McLelland Match blends. A Dark Star Match would fly off the shelves.

Just received a late birthday gift from my mother , a Peterson XL315 sandblasted it smoke like a charm ! Love the P lip so far and in it I’m smoking C&D Pegasus thanks a lot for the recommendation I’m gonna cellar a few pounds for sure wonderful stuff !
MacBaren Navy Flake in a Mauro Armellini bent billiard. I've got 3 or 4 bowls left in a jar that is a mix of pretty fresh and 3 year old flakes. I may pop a tin with 8 years of age on it next. I've never smoked anything with that much age before.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark brown medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. A cup of hot tea is my drink. Watching a lecture on baseball during the Depression.

My neighbour gave me a couple of Sea Bass that he caught this morning so I fired up the bbq even though it’s pitch black outside and nice burre blanc sauce with shallots and parsley and Anya potatoes made a great feast.
I smoked a bowl of C&D Hearthside in a bent Longchamp whilst it was cooking, it had been in the jar for six months or thereabouts and was a perfect smoke for a chilly night by the fire. Now indoors and sated I'm gonna fire up some 633 which I find to be a perfect after dinner smoke. This is going in the big Kiko Caveman Pipe, a 20 + million year old geological sample that is beautifully tactile and smokes like a dream.
