Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s 71th Street in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin (GBD second) sitter with a flared top and yellow saddle stem. Just felt like having a Wilke afternoon.
Three Friars in my Peterson Irish Army straight prince with acrylic fishtail stem. Brandy (now that there is a chill in the air) for my drink.
Wilke Rum cake in a T Cook partially rusticated Canadian , a little bit of Rum on the side with tea.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, flounder glazed with lemon and asparagus dinner with a scoop of Dutch chocolate ice cream for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of Sutliff Cringle Plug (Holiday Edition 2020) in a black straight, grain etched family era (Post WW2) Four Dot Sasieni “Appleby” apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Sutliff sent me a sample of CF in plug form, and I'm finally getting to it. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

The same again. Another bowl of Three Friars in the Peterson. With the demise of PA, I encourage others to try this blend. Virginias and burley with a touch of perique, a codgers dream!
Just cracked open an 8 oz tin of GL Pease Chelsea Morning from Oct 2011. I had 4 tins of Chelsea Morning from that period. The first tin I opened last year, it was OK but nothing spectacular. This is the second I opened, and first few puffs have been excellent!
