@Jim...Should anything like this be done with Granger and SWRA? I’ve started smoking this recently but it’s worked in my rotation and not my main tobacco. I usually fill a mason jar for easy access and storage. Should I do a layer of plastic wrap and then store till I need more?

Once opened, those tubs will keep tobacco moist for several months. If it takes you a long time to smoke it all, then extra measures won't hurt.

I found a little Century Black Spice in a pouch, just enough for the small bulldog bowl on my Falcon, they discontinued this blend for some reason, perfect at Xmas time.

That Bantam Bulldog Falcon bowl makes for a great short smoke!

Oh, yes. It'll do even better if you gently lift the plastic seal, take what you want, keep tobacco off the rim, and firmly replace the seal before putting the lid back on. Those tubs will keep the tobacco fresh for years. You may have noticed I've been smoking circa year 2000 EGR these days. I take some out, put in a regular EGR tin, and keep the tub sealed until I need more. The tobacco is fresh and moist as the day it was manufactured.

You can do this with the H&H Mid-Town series blends, too.

The postman just arrived with my Mark Twain replacement, they were out of stock so I got this Marcus instead, keeping it for VA’s only. I’m just starting to get into VA’s and I’m a complete novice when it comes to vapers. I’m wrapping up some Ashton’s Gold Rush with 20% Kendal Perique for a few weeks as an experiment. I really like the Marcusfor va/pers. I put the 3 1/4” stem on it though. Try Sutliff match Victorian and Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake. These are good introductions to perique. Sorry about the double post.

Thanks for the recommendation. The Gold Rush has a really light honey lemon casing and I’ve mixed some with Perique to age and tried some in the Marcus. Boy have I been missing out! Now I see why so many of you love your VaPers, I have seen the light and I’m sweetening some more of my pipes to accommodate it.
