Esoterica Blackpool in a Sasieni rusticated Moorgate. A strong dark chocolate tin note and less so in the retrohale. Nice and creamy smoke and mouth feel. Pleasent and enjoyable enough smoke, no bite, and mild nic levels. Maybe a hint of Lakeland panties, but that just might be me. Not a blockbuster flavored blend, more subtle but worth a try. I am happy to enjoy more bowls in the future. Great for a change of pace from any normal routine! I would not spend 150$ for an 8oz bag.

In all the years I have been on forums, I've never seen a greater misunderstanding of what this thread is all about. I'll explain it this way:

1. We post what we are smoking. This is the "What Are You Smoking?" thread.
2. Look around and you will see there's threads for "rides, guns, and toys" on this forum. Somewhere, someone might even discuss how cool they are today.
3. You won't get the "boot" for being oblivious to something easy to understand. But, you may find it's worth the effort to understand what we do here instead of being judgemental of good people for no reason. Or not.
4. As previously noted, there is a section for tobacco reviews. Look around and join in with yours.
5. This thread is more of an internet cafe of people who like to share what gets smoked during the day. Nobody's looking for a pat on the back. Nobody's competing to see who was the coolest pipe or rarest tobacco. Sharing and camaraderie are the only concepts that matter here.
6. There's no pomposity here, except for the fact that you apparently lack the ability to understand that you could be a part of a fun group of people. Or that you are in the wrong thread and didn't realize it. Looking down at others and being proud of it really says more about you than it does about us. Nobody's hurting anybody here. People are getting along fine and enjoying each others company. Why would you feel the need to rain on the parade of good people? If you don't like this thread, don't post here. There's sure to be something at this site worth your time or you wouldn't have come here in the first place.

It's a forum about all things pipe from a cob up to top dollar artisan pieces. From Carter Hall to the rarest of unicorn blends. Folks get passionate, like to talk about their habit, and like to show and see what's being smoked.

It does sound Kafkaesque- even intriguing. Perhaps a pipe tobacco "Mad Libs" lol.

Certainly. I just bought a motherlode so wallet is empty for a bit but wanted to be set for my week away over xmas.
Just basics and a couple weak ones i hear are still good. Orlik golden sliced, Pete's Beard, quiet nights, hearth and home larry's blend, and about 8 others. Guess one has to find one's niche.

Yep, it took me a couple of decades to realize my favorites are primarily Virginia/Orientals and rum blends.

I've been smoking that so slow as I can't always get it. Yums! Lucky I had some young guy at the tobacconist that tries different tobacs. It is that good- no?
