Good morning all you kewl kats and kittens. First off, happy birthday @Sobrbiker I hope that dinner was as excellent as it looked.

Second, I swung by the local humane society to take a look at some of the animals up for adoption. The shelter is beyond capacity for cats right now and for a long time I’ve thought about adopting another cat to be a friend, or tolerated enemy, for my older calico. I wasn’t planning on bringing one home last night buuuut, well I did. Meet Casio Cordell (name given by the shelter, and, well I’m gonna roll with it): 1755870507023.png

Little guy is 4mos old and just had his manhood taken care of lol. My older gal isn’t quite sure what to make of him yet though he’s sequestered in the second bedroom for now.

Anyways this morning I’m having a bowl of Semois Le Petite Robin in a Grabow with coffee ☕IMG_4075.jpeg

Good morning! I’m a little slow today. Surgeon opened me up yesterday. Repacking and dressing changes for a couple of weeks. Then, back to see if anymore has to come out. No cycling. Guess I’ll catch up on pipe maintenance. NOT! Coffee, burley, cob.

PS: Brown Recluse Spiders are not friendly. They leave a lasting impression.
Yikes and Ouch!!! Hope you have a fast and straight-forward recovery @bobpnm !!

Started this bowl of Ken Byron’s Ventures Artifact in a Vauen Basic 4403 while catching up on WAYS. I probably will finish off this bowl tomorrow.

I'd never done that before - starting a bowl and finishing it the next day. Did so the other day, and again in a smoke I did yesterday . . . . interesting results. Will post it later on.

2021 Sun Bear in a Caminetto. This is one of my most abused pipes. Not from neglect but from love. This pipe is so dry and smokes everything very well. So it gets brought everywhere and is subject to a lot. Has survived quite a few drops very well.

I have this problem with almost every pipe I own. One functioning eye via the stroke method about 15 years ago. No depth perception . . . all my clear pipes are thus injured . . . . buy rusticated whenever possible in more expensive pipes. Thanks for the sympathetic post! :ROFLMAO:

I've also found cheap pipes the best answer . . . and some of them smoke and look great!

Sorry to hear that. Speedy recovery ! Do you know for sure it was Brown recluse ? Or alternatively a Hobo Spider ? All the best.
