Recent Smokes: Oh yeah . . . . in my enthusiasm to wax poetic about my Ropp J06, above, I didn't post the smokes I had with this pipe over two sessions in two days:

1. Smoker's Pride Vanilla Cavendish, day before yesterday, smoked half of it, ran out of interest, and finished it off morning last. Found out this pipe doesn't care for Vanilla Cavendish that much, but not only did it taste the same the next day, this is one of only a few pipes I have that really likes a half-bowl. This is good!

2. Borkum Riff Dark. This is one of my favourite go-to's, and the pipe loves it. This is also good! Loaded it with a half bowl of the same, and smoked it this morning when I got up. Yup, it likes a half bowl. Confirmed. This is, as well, also good.

Now to hope I don't destroy it chomping. This would not be good.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2020 Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Currently, I'm near the finish of this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
