Tonight was a bowl of a house blend (“Not Frog Morton”) in my MM Country Gentleman accompanied with a glass of hard apple cider, then Irish Flake in a Masterson Freehand, and a night cap of C&D Bayou Night in the same Masterson with a glass of cream sherry. Spicy and lovely!

I've had Prince Albert in a jar for quite some time now, so I figured I better let him out! 
Almost half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Daisy the Feral Princess was banging on the back door, and up until the last year or so, that meant that she wanted in. She wanted food, but didn't want to come inside to get it. I know that she likes being outside in the spring and summer, but she's much less interested to coming inside for some reason. Well, as long as she's happy laying on the back deck, I won't worry about it. Nobody else is out there, but I'll bet that Harry the Hairy's close by.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in a 1990s smooth brown medium bend briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem. Reading baseball box scores, and will check on Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy in a couple of minutes.

It's a dark and stormy morning and the Baskerville is calling, filling it with Perfection.
Smoking some Quiet Nights in a Kai Nielsen bulldog. This stuff is good and sadly double the price in Europe. It will go on my list next time family visits from the US. Still it burns slow so a little goes a long way.
