I had to dump this pipe yesterday. The bowl was ghosted and it was not Casper the friendly ghost. It was some unknown evil. It tasted like old lady perfume, not lat, not lakeland. I used wet coffee grinds until they dried. Then I washed it and sanded the bowl again. Then I put in more grinds and instead of water used strong alcohol. The exorcism was successful. No hint of weirdness.

I smoked Louisana Broken Flake becuase I know I can taste ghosts through a vaper. Its in a Kai Nielson bent bulldog.

Now smoking Warhorse Bar from this small clay
@samuelgawith01 Nice pipe & good tobacco choice. Looking forward to smoking my clay at the Viking & pirate events at Cromford / Matlock Bath this weekend; lit from the blacksmith's forge. Congratulations on having the first 'clay' post this month!

After 9 third-bowls of Carter Hall (breaking in my new Falcon bowls), I was getting bored with it, so this morning I decided to switch to something different: OJK Blue Label.

I can’t say that I’m a fan so far. It started off pretty bitter, but I did burn the crap out of it at first. A lighter touch on the relights has improved it somewhat. It smelled so much better in the bag though. I can feel a little more nicotine in a half-bowl of OJK Blue than a third-bowl of Carter, though.

Maybe I’ll switch to an English for the rest of today’s treatments.

Well, 1/2>1/3 so there’s that.

I’m tempted to grab a Falcon, but everything metal get hotter than Hades here in the AZ summer sun.
Good point, though all measurements are approximate when dealing with a bowl that small ;) To be accurate, I should try a half-bowl of CH too, but I guess I'm not that interested...

It's probably the novelty, but I'm really enjoying these Falcons so far. I've been in Phoenix in August, and I know that you mean. It's a little cooler here, though: only 77, but 75% humidity. I've had a hankering for a nice big cigar, but the Falcon is nice and short: more suitable for the conditions this week.
