Needed to recharge my batteries in the woods, so my girlfriends cousin sent us up to their ski house on Hunter Mtn, NY to "flush the toilets". Enjoying the scenery off the balcony with Sutliff Per G. Jensen Burley in my Peterson Aran Smooth Nickel Mounted #53 Lovat and a mug of black coffee. Only ambitious thing I'm doing today, is heading to a neighboring town to pick up some local type flies for fishing later.

2 bags of grot from Ashgate / Brampton today. 8 vapes; 72 in total now. Recycled some found batteries, returned a Lidl trolley to Chatsworth Road & collected some more blister packs ready to go to Bakewell next week. Dropped 5 vapes off at Spar in Ashgate; Jane & I are taking the recycling to Newbold & the vapes to Brimington Co-op on the way to Mum & Dad's tomorrow. Looking forward to practicing my sword moves tomorrow & axe throwing on Saturday.

Did a set of walking reps on this 105 degree heat index day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Sprayed and knocked down a couple of wasp nests, too. Lunch follows this smoke.
Trying out some Boswell's Christmas Cookie in an MM cob. The blend passes muster nicely and shall be smoked over the Yule holiday! Have to be prepared!
H&H El Niño in a Peterson Pub. This pipe hangs nice, which is what I need while I change strings on my 12-string - and you know they absolutely need changing. Otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it.
